All we have done is thrown our support behind him and the other picks. We've thrown them our votes, our time and our money. Dave and Co have plastered the site with pleads for us to continue our support with news of album releases and lastest items (concerts, appearances, etc) pertaining to each former worst pick. If it was truly a "mean-spirited" site, TPTB wouldn't mention them ever again once they were dropped from the show, they'd just get a kiss off from all of us.

The only thing that's been proven is VFTW's misjudgements in chosing him at all. As the old saying goes, "Don't bite the hand that feeds you", well Dave's hand has been bitten and I for one hope that anything Phil Stacy is pulled from the site.

I'm pretty sure Dave doesn't control the advertisements on the page. So he can't exactly pull the Phil Stacey ads.

Carly's "we all made a conscientious choice not to look" sounds like a line of BS. How does she know what the other contestants choose to do? It would have been better to say "I choose not to look;"

Anyways it was made mention on the media thread that maybe Contestants have to talk bad about VFTW. Look at that Sanjaya Video we have where he tries to say "Hi votse for the worst!" And the camera person, (Brooklyn, I think, I am too lazy to look it up), was practically malled by the security or PR agent.

Oh well, thats my take on the Phil situation, I mean he has to sell albums right?

More bashing of American Idol by reality star, John Rich of Nashville Star:

"Big &; Rich's John Rich has a bone to pick with 'American Idol.' During a press event in Pasadena, Calif., Rich ranted about a recent flub by 'Idol' judge Paula Abdul.

"'American Idol' infuriates me as an artist," he told reporters. "They're being fake about it. When you can't make a cognizant comment about someone's performance and you're commenting on something that happened the day before, why don't you just walk up on stage and slap them right across the face while you're at it? As an artist, I would just flip them the bird and walk off the stage. She wasn't even paying attention to what was going on."

Abdul's blunder happened two weeks ago on a live show, when she critiqued a contestant's performance that she'd only seen in rehearsal but that did not air on television. That's just part of the reason why Rich thinks that 'Idol' is a "scripted" reality show whose ratings are "going into the toilet right now." Rich went on to tell reporters that his own reality talent show, 'Nashville Star,' is all real.

"We have to respect the fans' ears and eyes and give them something that's for real. Don't try to con them," he said. "And I think that's why 'American Idol,' in my opinion, is just dive-bombing. I can't stand watching it. I wouldn't want to be on that show now if you gave me a 100 dollar bill."

Executives at the FOX television network are fighting back. They quickly released a statement in response to Rich's criticisms: "John Rich's ungentlemanly and opportunistic comments are particularly disturbing considering the fact he attended a taping of 'American Idol' last April, told producers, judges and performers he enjoyed himself and also did an interview with a crew from 'American Idol Extra' where he was extremely complimentary toward the show."

i am a hard core Idol fan, but i LOVE LOVE LOVE VFTW. so yeah, its true. american idol and VFTW are very very similar. i mean, the spirit of American Idol is pretty mean spirited sometimes, so why not make it funny? oh and carly.....yeah....shes pretty bad. notice how theres no bad publicity for VFTW from the good idols - David Cook, for example. they're jsut mad. ha ha ha ha.
