I've only seen season 5. I do remember Paula choosing that Bobby Caldwell song "What you Won't Do for Love" for Elliott and being extremely creeped out by the whole thing. This should be interesting.

Just asked my cousin who buys into all this Idol Crap. He just told me what that the judges choices are that were revealed today: David Cook * Simon Cowell choses for him - “First Time Ever I Saw Your Face” by Roberta Flack Syesha Mercado * Randy Jackson choses for her - “If I Ain’t Got You” by Alicia Keys David Archuleta * Paula Abdul choses for him - “And So it Goes” by Billy Joel IMO...THESE ARE ALL TERRIBLE CHOICES AND EVERYONE IS GONNA BOMB...Tuesday should be interesting.

Ouch. I've gotta agree, those are some awful picks for these three. Of the three, I think Cook got the short end of the stick, personally, I've yet to see a decent version of that song.

I can't imagine David Cook singing that song. But, you know what? I'm not even excited about watching AI anymore. I've been a fan all these years and usually get more excited as it gets down to the final few. Now that Jason is gone, I don't even care anymore.

WOW! Banned? He really is an awful bastard. Can't someone do something for David? Like can't he divorce his parents. Don't laugh at me (I know you are) it just seems like I've heard of that. Its so obvious that he has been abused his entire life. I know we make fun of him because what else can we do? We can't save him. Still I feel like I might actually cry.

yea I feel bad for the poor bastard. I wish no harm upon him. His father is a different story. Someone needs to take him out back and give him a beatdown.

Paula actually did alright this time. I'm not saying the song doesn't suck, because it sucks plenty. But Gaspy can play the piano and the fantards will eat it up. I'd have to listen to the song to be sure, but as I remember there isn't much opportunity for him to crutch himself up with those annoying and gratuitous runs. Not that that ever stopped him before...

The beautiful girls thing got me confused too. At first i thought that was part of the original song. That was kind of retarded. Anyway, i hope this helps little david. Maybe this week he'll loosen up and stop looking like he's in pain when he sings.

When I was having sympathy sex with Paula the other day, she slurred to me that she wrote a song for David this week. It's entitled "I am so gay, but I will never come out because my money grubbing dad will kick my ass, so he'll find out when I am 21 years old, strung out on heroin, and get caught blowing some strange guy in the alley of a seedy gay bar." It should be a hit! I heard that he already knows all of the words! I can't wait to download the full version on my I-Tunes!
