supedupX - just goes to show I shouldn't post before I've had my morning coffee...though lately I find it difficult to drink it before it cools since I am laughing so much with the mailbags, et. al. I guess when I saw the pic it must made me think of all those signs in the audience that say "Lick Those Lips!" because the fantards think it's sexy and I wouldn't put it past Utah to think a sign like that was a compliment (if only because his last name is too long for them to put on a sign...or because they don't want Daddy Dearest to think it's named for him). I humbly submit to being suckered by the fine skills of our leader, however. No shame in that! ;)

What the heck? Dan Fogelberg, really? All Gaspy's songs are perfectly boring. Why would Simon give David Cook the same song Leona Lewis sang on her snooze-fest album As foe Snor-esha, who cares? Should be a perfectly craptastic show!

All I have to say to David's choices is....BWAHAHAHA!!!! VFTW KISS OF DEATH LIVES ON!!

Whats the Best way to throw David Archuleta under the bus?

1.) Have Rehabdul pick his song

2.) Give him an old simple guitar melody song so people can obviously see how desperately he hides behind melismatic runs.

3.) Take Papa Gepetto Away so he has to go this alone.

4.) Don't tell him that he can't sing or dance, so doing a Chris Brown song is DISASTER!

And whyyyyy are they letting Snoresha sing the same alicia keys song that she sang on that other craptastic reality show, "The One"?!

Simon Cowell has got to have the biggest ego in the universe. He keeps trying to have someone remake "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" like ANYONE is ever going to top Roberta Flack's version!! That kind of bullshit hubris makes me so damn angry.

And look at these other song choices! Are any of them current besides the Chris Brown? At least David went for something that has been on the radio within the last year... what a joke that Paula chose one of THE most MILQUETOAST, boring, middle-of-the-road, repetitive, insanely stupid songs ever written by hack Billy Joel. And Nigel's choice is ALMOST EXACTLY the same (of course, you just KNOW they're going to have some kind of lame "tribute" to Dan Fogelberg because he just died, and then David will cry while he sings it... on second thought, he better NOT cry, he won't have enough breath left to gasp AND sing AND cry at the same time).

And OF COURSE David Cook chose Collective Soul's early-90's weepy hit "The World I Know"!!! Then he can sing in his oh-so-original and silly Eddie Vedder/Scott Stapp/Alex-Band-of-The-Calling affectation that sounds like he has to poo real bad. I hope Nigel makes him sing something cutesy like "I Say A Little Prayer"!

And speaking of bad choices, how much do you want to bet that Syesha will choose to go after a super-big-voiced diva like Aretha Franklin or Gladys Knight or (perish the thought) Patti LaBelle? Every time she does that it just makes me more upset with her myopic insistence that she has as big a voice as they do (if I were Whitney Houston, I would be going to the finale to slap the shit out of her for constantly ganking my material and doing it badly!)
