YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING??!!!??!! You and more than half of voters know that DAVID ARCHULETA is gonna WIN! Now that your site is not working for you, you have to pretend he is the worst! He is the greatest singer. Like SIMON says "He crushed the competition"!. You know that with 51 million votes you are obsolete. HAHAHA! That's a good one you have pulled. Hanging on to something, so that you site won't be dicredited. But maybe you should just change the name for voteforthebest! If you've been watching the show, (which i am 100% sure you are the #1 fan of the show) you know that DAVID ARCHULETA has never been in the bottom 3 or even 4 or 5 or 6. or 10. HAHAHA, What a good joke! Plus I and a few pals already have plans for a beutiful site to crush yours next season. It is in the works as we speak. Thanks for doing us a favor, because DAVID ARCHULETA AND DAVID COOK are the ones to beat. Thanks for making it easy for Sayesha to go this week. Because it doesnt matter which DAVID wins. We will be happy and so will 40million of the 51 million votes.

Hey her's an idea, lets tell people to root for their least favorite sport's team. I think im going to dedicate my life to that and start a website. What do you think I mean they don't get any smarter or more creative than you turds. I have tuned to vote for the worst for years now. I thought it was entertaining to see people dedicated to the hatred of a show that crowns a POP star. When I saw David Achuleta as the next to be voted for .. I would like to thank you guys.. David would be the be the best person left to be the American Idol puppet.. Do all the commercials and put out the pop album. I personally love David's voice if I thought I could use David's first album as more then something to put me to sleep at night (with all the ballads) I may consider buying it. This is the guy people have said including my self would win American Idol. That gasping can be fixed , just like Elliott Yamin's teeth .. and yes I laughed for a second that year but I thought that was pretty fucked up. If you wanna knock on a 17 year old kid that had vocal paralysis then hey why don't you say "fuck kids with Autism" ??? David Cook and Syesha will have better music careers without winning American Idol. Syesha will go out there and make people forget who Fantasia is and David Cook will be on the billboards next to Daughtry. I like all 3 , these have my been my favorites sense the top 12 so they will have careers in the music business but I think its funny you are "promoting" David Achuleta to win American Idol because I am too.

I am shocked that David Archuleta is the new pick for VFTW. Not because I'm a fan of his, on the contrary, I am his #1 Anti-Fan. I would NEVER vote for him. I have been supportive of your picks for the past few months...but I just can't go along with this one. Trollchuleta CANNOT win idol... even if he IS the worst. He already has a huge fan base that are prepared to vote until their fingers bleed...America does not need another Michael Bolton or Josh Grobin, one of each is more than enough. i just wanted to say that i think this website is completely hilarious! it's almost as funny as the comments that the extreme idol fans post when they get really angry at you guys. i dont understand why people get soooooo upset, i mean it's a show based on criticism and popularity. do fans really expect everyone to be nice about it?? if so, they are incredibly naive and/or stupid. i also love to see when people try to dish out insults on your website but they spell them wrong. example: "dumass"- irony? i think not. anyway, just wanted to tell you that YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!!!! keep up the brutally honest commentary...

What to do, what to do....... Let's see. David Cook is probably the most mustang and thereby, the least "idol", but he's the best performer. David A. actually has a better voice, but doesn't command the stage like D.C. or Syesha. And, speaking of Syesha, her performances have gotten better and better over the last four weeks and she could possibly win it all. Hhhmmmmm...... I guess no matter which of the three win, it doesn't matter they are all excellent. Not a Taylor Hicks or Sanjaya in the bunch. I guess no matter who wins, VFTW LOSES! Better luck next year LOSERS.

David Archuleta is your new pick?!?!?! WTF!! he is AMAZING!! and no Im not some little 13 year old girl! and when you said that most of America doesnt like him......that is TOTAL bullshit! EVERYONE and I mean EVERYONE I know love's him! He has an amazing voice and a great humble personality! Chooisng him as your new pic is totally disgusting. Do you forget that he is only 17 years old and has a family who has to hear about and read all the stuff that people like you write?!How would you feel if someone was sayign this kind of stuff about someone you loved? I mean do you really care that little about other people?! All three of the remaining Idols are so talented, you shouldnt have chosen anyone! Why cant you just leave things be?! When you had Sanjaya, or even Jason, they were funny because all of America was in on the joke, but come on, David Archuleta? Im sorry, this just really pisses me off!! The Ultimate Idol finale would be David and David, but without your imput! Then whoever won it would have been fair and square! and if you feel the need to choose someone every week so badly why didnt you choose Syesha! Change your format this time and have everyone vote for the best. If you really take true talent into play, David Archuleta is the worst of the 3 three left. He is too young and very karaoke. So instead of destroying the heart of a 17 year old child. Leave yourselves out of it or change your format. Just my opinion.

Wow, you people are absolutely retarded and delusional. Do you ever stop to realize that you go week to week picking the "worst" person, just to have them voted off the following week upon which you pick your next worst? Have you ever had any success at all? By the way the site is written you would think you're tearing American Idol apart from the inside, but I've yet to see this website make any difference at all. Your whole concept is flawed, by the top 12 there is too much talent to possibly have a "bad" winner of American Idol anyway. So even if your ploy worked, at best we would have a "less favorable but still okay" American Idol, you would really show AI then!

American Idol creates fan bases so large and vote hungry that they will phone and text for the maximum time limit every week, people buy phones solely for voting. You probably have the combined voting power of a dozen little girls voting for David Archuleta before bed time. And then you take credit for things you obviously had nothing to do with, season five's Taylor Hicks for example was clearly not chosen as a result of you picking him. Although he seemed the least marketable (and yeah, has turned out to be), the Soul Patrol at the time was one of the most rabid fan bases throughout American Idol's history. There is no way you even made a dent in the outcome, you just choose people until they win!

And now, you've chosen David Archuleta? What, afraid to choose Syesha because you know she'll be gone next week? David Archuleta has been a frontrunner since the top 24 and you know it. There's probably a half and half chance he could win this (without your huge impact) and his fans are insane. Seriously, they have convinced themselves and are in total agreement with each other that he has huge built biceps. This is what they actually believe.

And your posts, dear god. There is more to being funny than cynicism. You're no Maddox. They all come off so undeservingly confident, I would try being less obnoxious. For people who hate American Idol so much, you invest an awful lot of time in it, don't you think? Much more than me and I LIKE the show.

p.s. Sanjaya made it because as horrible as he was, there was still an enormous fan base he acquired from his looks and personality (which I didn't care for, but to each his own). You're influence was minimal, and that was the absolute peak of VFTW.

Don't you people think AI is rigged anyway? How does any of these even make sense.

I've heard of your site for a couple years, but tonight was my first visit (I read all the way through the "read more" section) and think you have a fun thing going. I especially love the "vote for the stoned." Your site is well put together, and anyone with an open mind can see you put plenty of thought in your critiques, not just opinions. It's not just about the voice, but stage presence, performance, etc, but as so many have stated: we know it's not really a singing competition. Those of us that know that watch the train wreck each week and can actually enjoy it for what it is. Your site speaks nothing but truth, every opinion blog is right on the money.

I am 50 years old, love the show for its cheesiness and picking apart the singers, and if I feel like it, I vote for favorites. My friends and I voted heavily for Taylor Hicks, I love his voice (did I say I was 50?), but his post-Idol album was a super-suck waste. Oh well, it's how it goes.

I had to laugh at some of the tongue-lashing letters you posted. They tell you to get a life when they have time to search out a site like yours, bother to email, and speak so, uhh, eloquently with plenty of color?

What some of your bashers may not realize is how much fear you can put into the fan bases. It was spread on the "Soul Patrol" boards that you guys were pulling to vote against Taylor, and so the intensity of voting for Taylor increased. More word-of-mouth, more phone calls, more text votes, and there were threads just to teach people how to actually text vote with their phones... things like that. And if anyone would study Simon from week to week, they would see he says things on purpose to anger voters and get them to vote more. Uh, the show makes money off those votes folks, either from the texts or simply the advertising dollars and ratings spawned by any controversy.

After reading your "about us," I can see how you would vote for Taylor, as the producers didn't know what to do with this gray-haired Joe Cocker reincarnate. That whole season was quite fun (I'm from Birmingham, btw), and it gives us all water-cooler talk. Currently, I like the kid on the show (along with Cook) but Donny Osmond he ain't. Are there enough teeny boppers out there to swoon and vote like we gray-hairs did for Taylor? It'll be fun to watch.

Oops, Idol is on, gotta go back up the DVR.
