Cookie's pre-song interview showed he's ready to be a rock star. He had the pretensiousness doen perfectly. I've never heard any of his band's music, but I have a feeling it would sound a lot like this. This was boring.

"Longer Than" - the producers pick to "challenge" Archie. it's the same kind of song he does every week. if they really wanted to challenge him. they shoud have picked "The Final Countdown" by Europe. "We're heading to Venus....!"

Please vote for David A. If I have to watch Syesha whoring it up with an inanimate object or one of the band members again for the umpteenth time next week, I am going to go blind. The people on "The One" told her to stop being so damn theatrical and that singing is not acting... and now on Idol she decides it's a good idea to get phonier and phonier every week since it went over well on ALW week. I didn't realize how much venom I held inside toward her until right now. I should go calm down.

Archie took a sweet love song and slowed it down into a dirge. The shills loved it, though Bowell was being a tad schizphrenic. First, he said he sang very well, but then criticized him for the lyrical content as though it was Archie's song choice. Then he ended by saying that would get him into the finals. I have to admit this was one of his better technical performances, which puts me in agreement with the shills (to that point). However, it was totally wrong for the song, which makes his perfomance meaningless. This is a concept the shills and producers cannot even begin to grasp with so many performances over the years on AI.

This thread is pointless. David Archuleta has been the top vote getter most of the season. If he makes the finals next week it will have very little to do with VFTW.

I think maybe Archie will go home tonight. After he sang that last line, "I am in love with you" all his fans fainted and can't vote. Don't hate me but I kinda liked that one. There wasn't as much gasping as usual but he needs to take a Carolyn. I can see it on his face.

His performance of With You has to be the most unintentionally funniest thing I have EVER seen on American Idol. Seriously. Could not stop laughing.
