What a horrible website you have! As a 47 year old mother of two daughters 21 and 17, who adore david archuleta, and myself and my husband included we are repulsed by your cynical remarks. Frankly those who wish to tear down another decent human being has clear issues. Go get a life and find something else to do with your time. I pity you.

wowww. i used to think this site was somewhat funny, back in sanjaya days. now, it's just the most pathetic thing i've ever seen. so, you picked the guy who been a front-runner all season long, who has had the highest chances of winning the show from the beginning, and you're going to label him as the "worst" and claim his win for yourself. whatever. give me a break. you're calling him a puppet, saying that he can't sing and that he's always flat. i think you need to clear the shit out of your ears. there's a reason why he's in the top 2. he can sing anything and america knows that. i have a feeling this is going to be your last season running this site. and holy crap, it's just a freaking show! he's going to sell more albums than anyone on that show no matter what happens. so quit screwing around and shut down your freaking site already.

He is the best on the show and now you are getting desperate. Hey people at VFTW! Let me start of by saying how much I love you guys and I believe in what you are doing is right...and fun. I don't watch American Idol anymore because they got rid of the only "true" Idol this season, Josiah Leming and because AI fucking sucks. I don't live in America so I technically I can't vote for the worst, but if I did I'd spend two hours every week doing so. Gaspy as the 'worst'? I'm thirteen and I hate his guts and if I would be given the chance I'd beat the crap out of his annoying little gasping self. See not all teenage girls are madly in love with the lizard. But as he's the 'worst' so I'll support him.

I used to like your website because you had the best recaps and the funniest pictures of American Idol. But now the jig is up. You guys have decided to vote for David Archuleta because he's the "worst"?! This is pathetic. Now, when he wins from the votes from all those teeny-boppers, your website will take credit for tipping the scales in his favor. You guys have just lost all credibility. Hehehe! This may be the best idea ever! Stickin' it to the MAN! I agree - it's all pre-fabricated. A lot of the people are there for their looks or their style - not because they can sing. How much choice is there in picking talent when they are already seeded through - some obviously not for their vocal talent...and now I know why Taylor, Scott, Pickler, Sanjaya and Jason got to where they did. I do however - think Carly was awesome - one hell of a voice.

As for Canadian Idol - don't worry - majority of Canadians already know this is a joke. The talent on this show compared to the 'seeded thru talent' on American idol wouldn't make it to the top 12 - this has become exceedingly obvious and is why I no longer watch it. Not worth the heachache - plus at least on American Idol they have 'some' good performances!

Now - if you just had some influence on other reality voting shows - maybe they would finally go off the air and bring in some decent tv to watch! Here's hoping!

okay so u were wrongishh abot jason cuz i did like him and he had a good voice if you listen to the songs he wote himself[someday] he just got too nervous on stage. but omg david archuleta makes me wanna kill myself. When he gets compliments he looks so uncomfertable its funny. it looks like he wants to urn away crying. and then wen he sins he likes sucks as much air in as loudly as possible and his dad is looking like probably marking a chart liek oh 3 too deep breaths= 3 hits with the belt. his dad is like super dad. and everyone thinks hes so cute! he looks like the kid the mentally challenged kids would pick on. hes pathetic and i srsly hope he goes home. but i think people vote for him cuz i think if he did go home he would like either a kill himself or b his dad would kill him!

Hey votefortheworst. I'm not gonna jump at you for the completely wrong VFTW pick you made, but I'm also not gonna agree at all (ever). David Archuleta is the nicest, sweetest person I've ever seen in my life! That's a fact! He is also an amazing singer and definitely the BEST., in my opinion. (They're all amazing though) What has he ever done or said to anyone? He hasn't bothered or made fun of you so why do you have to choose him? Personally, I wouldn't have even started this website, let alone do this "VFTW Pick" thing every week. Just please change the pick (choose somebody else) even though I love them all!: I'd rather have you just change the website to something people will actually like. It isn't had to see that he has been groomed for this his entire life. He sings like an angel...but is a Diva at the core. Don't be decieved by that boyish stupid..."I can't believe you like me" look. Do you honostly believe that????? Give me a break.

At first I was going to send this e-mail to say 'you suck, stop ruining American Idol' to an extensive amount like everyone else. Only, I'd be half-lying. You guys do suck, don't get me wrong. But you don't ruin AI. First of all, I hear you eventually backed Carrie Underwood. I mean, SERIOUSLY. She's amazing. And look at how successful she is. Secondly, you didn't throw Chris Daughtry... his fans thought he was doing fine (like me) and decided to save Taylor (BIG mistake). Thirdly, you didn't pimp Sanjaya, either... Howard Stern and the Indian-Americans did. I swear, some kid told me that she started an anti-Sanjaya group and a bunch of Indian people e-mailed her and told her she was racist. And anyway, he finished in 7th, and Jordin Sparks won, knocking your replacement candidate, Blake, to runner-up.

Fourthly, you're totally and completely inconsequential. Let's see who you went through this season... Danny Noriega? Got voted out before Top 12. Amanda Overmeyer? Finished in 11th. Kristy Lee Cook? She actually got better and was NOT the worst in the end, but finished in 7th place. Brooke White? Grand 5th, lasting only 2 weeks. Jason "Stoner" Castro? 4th, not even lasting a week. And now David Archuleta, just because he's the only one left with any quirks at all.

An added plus--this website is the ultimate example of people who have NO LIVES! Honestly, don't you have better things to do with your time? You claim to hate this show, that it's so "mainstream" and "plugged by the producers" and "not reality TV". First of all: If you hate it, why are you scrutinizing its every move? Second of all: NEWS FLASH! "Reality TV" is one of the biggest oxymorons of our time!! NONE of it is real. They ALWAYS only pick the interesting people on ALL of these shows. They even say it in the audition rules--that you're more likely to get picked if you STAND OUT; that you're picked if you're more interesting. These more interesting people last in the audition round to make funny TV, and then a diverse handful of good singers get weeded out for the actual competition. Yes, it's mainstream, but that's why it's television. So if you don't like it, DON'T WATCH IT. Go hide out in your parents' basements and listen to music where the guitars' distortion is way too heavy and the singers scream their throats out! Go watch the Sundance channel all day! I watched Laguna Beach once, couldn't stand it, and so NEVER WATCHED IT AGAIN! I didn't watch every second so I could blog about it and make fun of it. You know why? Because I REALLY COULDN'T STAND IT. And when most normal human beings REALLY CAN'T STAND something, they SHOVE IT OUT OF THEIR LIVES. So just SHOVE AMERICAN IDOL out of your lives. Don't read the articles in the 'Times' (which you probably don't get b/c it's too mainstream for you) or on Yahoo! or AOL or whatever homepage you have. I know quite a few people who are able to tune American Idol out, and YOU CAN, TOO. You don't watch it? You're not bothered. Easy as that. Let the people who enjoy it have fun watching it. To each his own. Stop being the antagonists. All it gets you is a bigger crowd of anti-mainstream bums who sit around being pessimistic all day.

You guys are a bunch of effing idiots who need to shut the hell up.

All the American Idols, every single one of the people that were ever in the top 24 and especially now in the top 3, are amazing, talented people who have such a bright future ahead of them. Are you guys so bored with your lives that you have to create such a stupid site demeaning people that have the talent that you people could only dream about having? There is a good chance that the people creating this site are just people who want to be in the music business but don't have anywhere near the talent that these young people go out there and show off week after week.

Why do you feel it is so important to criticize every move these people make? They are only human just like you and me except their lives are broadcast to the world for people like you to pick apart.

First of all, Paula's mishap was due to the fact that she watched the rehearsal before the show, not because the show is scripted. AI doesn't even try to hide the fact that they watch the rehearsals before hand because they have mentioned that they do it before. Because it was such a rushed show, she was a little confused. And sure, Paula is a little crazy but that's why we love her and she makes the show that much more fun to watch.

Second, you say that nobody likes American Idol and that the people that watch just watch it to see people mess up. But American Idol is good for so many reasons. It shoots people with dreams and ambitions to stardom and fulfills those dreams. People who like to watch good performances and enjoy helping people achieve dreams can watch this show and have a lot of fun with it. And then we have killjoys like you who watch the show to see people mess up but if you notice, people only care about you at all because you are known for putting other people down but even you have a reason for watching American Idol. American Idol has been nice enough to give you a sense of being cared for which I guess your parents never did for you guys and that's why you run this stupid site. But you know what, keep watching the show and make their ratings go higher. If American Idol is so stupid, then why do you keep watching it and care about it so much!?!

Finally, why do you have to ruin it for the loyal fans. Okay, so you don't like the show. EVERYONE IS ENTITLED to their own opinion. But why do you go out of your way to ruin it for the people that truly enjoy it. It is not fair because people like me who truly enjoy the show and feel that these people have such amazing potential and talent is being ruined by people like you who do not understand what it is like to put yourself out there to so many people. The American Idols just want to show off their tremendous amount of talent and VFTW is putting them down because they have no lives and feel like ruining peoples day. Too bad the only thing you guys are good at is sitting at your computer all day thinking up ways to be ass holes.
