Seriously, why do people feel the need to write such long hatemails? It eventually comes down to the same stuff, I hate you, you guys have no lives, hope you die, lawsuits and so on. Just write it all in 1 -2 sentences.

Although, I'm quite impressed with the 13 yr old girl's letter. She didn't have spelling or grammar mistakes and asked nicely. ( Not gonna happen though).

I don't see how people don't get it. When a VFTW contestant leaves, they then pick the worst one still remaining. That hasn't changed.

Archie WAS the worst one still remaining (actually I still think he should have been chosen over Castro the week before).

You know Alexis actually makes a lot of sense, cos thats what this site is all about isn't it? Call somebody the worst and pretend to affect change in the voting when its actually the real fans that really decide the results. When the VFTW votes are relatively insignificant.

But you guys had a lucky break with Sanjaya, cos he just kept going with his bad singing and stupid girl fans. Believe me, thats not attributed to you guys, cos i mean look at that lil crying girl last season, how many millions of them are in your country.

I am not an AI fan, after last season i got sick of the whole damn thing, i saw no good singers in the top 12 in the last two seasons, someone to really root for. I agree that AI has probably gone out of its path in creating music stars, MUSIC stars. And this is the main argument of VFTW isn't it. That AI ain't about music.

But the point is what makes you people think that what your doing is helping the music. You diss every contestant, regardless. There are some good ones in the lot, EVERYONE HAS TO AGREE. Cos i mean c'mon either that or something is seriously wrong with you people, for not finding a single good one out of thousands to start with.

I saw the list of nicknames you had given for the top 12 when the week had begun. I dont know about anyone else but that does not show, VFTW's mission to appreciate good music. On the contrary its merely putting down another human being who has dreams and hope, just like everyone of us. But its not just the contestants but also the judges and mentors that you go after. Are you telling me that out of the, i dunno, so many mentors that have participated in the show, none of them are true music icons and none of you even remotely like them. That to me is bullshit.

To you everything on the show MUST be bad, simply cos its on the show.

If you give the VFTW mission in a nutshell, it would be something like this. To put down every clown and hopeful that ever comes on this show, and even those who actually have some talent and portray them as jokes. People who's music you may appreciate in reality, if not for their associations with AI. And when the show chooses the final 12, give them bad names and sling mud at them by looking at their contoversial history's and by the current gossip, being superficial. Then claim someone to be the "Worst" and root for them. and if they get voted off (which happened an embarassing number of times this season didn't it?)Go attack someone else, until he/she drops off. This goes on until the FINALE. Where no matter who you claimed the Worst in the beginning it wont make a difference, cos there are only two contestants left and and one is the "Worst", so a 50% chance of a "VFTW victory" either way.

And you had to go after Archuleta with Syesha around. When Syesha was the one who had suddenly discovered her sex appeal and was taking advantage of it, with the revealing clothes and lame cabaret, you still went for Archuleta, who was really doing a great job. That kid IS a great singer, maybe you people aren't listening, or seeing for that matter, HE S JUST A KID. Does making fun of a kid make you the great saviours of modern music?

Either you people knew that Archuleta was good, but in hope of a "VFTW victory" you claimed him the "Worst", or you people dont know good music (or good human nature)

Whatever happens this week, it won't be a VFTW victory, only a sad day for humanity.

I will admit that I, too, had problems with making licky lips the pick for the worst. Why would we want to catapult someone who is so annoying to victory? However, I can live with the decision now that I have come to realize that Nigel Lithgoe really, really needs to spend the next year or so with Jeff Archuleta in his ear and up his ass.
