Can't live without humiliating fame whores over the summer? Then come join us for Canadian Idol 6 which starts on Tuesday, June 3. VoteForTheWorst.com has a long and colorful history on Canadian Idol, where we have met some of our favorite contestants (and tards) ever. CI is infinitely cooler (and suckier) than its American counterpart, and don't worry, non-Canadians...you'll be able to watch complete episodes almost immediately after they air. So join us as we find out if Jessica Sheppard's mom pukes again, Cher finally proves she can sing, Tranlon scares Canada into voting for her, and if we finally get to hear The Fetus (pictured) sing.

The schedule is as follows:

As a Canadian, I must admit to taking pride in the fact that our Idol contestants are far more entertaining than the pop automatons on AI. I mean, Jacob Hoggard doing "Space Odyssey" in a metallic blue unitard would have never happened on AI!

Smelmo (fab name, btw), I totally concur. I recently introduced a friend to CI. And I chose Jacob's astounding 'Space Oddity' to kick it off. Awesomely hilarious!

<p>

Of all the Idols all over, the only contestant albums I have ever bought have been Canadian contestants. They kick everyone else's butt for originality and spirit. Hurry up, CI, wash the nasty taste of AI7 from my mouth!

Of all the Canadian Idol constestants I think that Jacob has made the most of his exposure on Canadian Idol and him and his group Heddley are hot hot hot.. (I've never been to one of their concerts but I heard there is mooning involved.)...

And for unusual (I mean more unusual than Jacob if that's possible) there is always Montana Martin Iles with her piercings, wild hair and thick French accent.. she was quirky, gutsy and I liked her.. a lot..

And Canadian Idol allowed instruments last year, before American Idol pretended like they were leading edge when they were behind the times..

I'm a proud Canadian and am not above laughing at myself and I don't take Canadian Idol seriously.. and we have four judges.. with a Simon wanna be called Zack...

Bring on CI... !!!
