Poor Luke, all the best wishes to him and I hope he'll make a great recovery! I fucking loved his Wham! song and I don't care what anyone else says about it.

AI is just a stupid show.

Life is what's important. I will say a prayer for Luke and wish him a full recovery. God Bless Him.

It IS inoperable, which means they can't cut it out and cure it (because of where it is). The treatment is chemo, which isn't fun, but while this cancer used to be a death sentence, today cure is the rule more than the exception.

Damn! I will be wishing him luck and hoping everything works out for him. Cancer is such a bitch!

Lost my father to cancer 8yrs ago. My sister was diagnosed 4yrs ago(she's still here BTW). It's a thief that steals life and joy from all who have it. Good Luck Luke. I wasn't crazy about you on Idol, but I wish and hope you get through this well.

I'm another Hodgkin's survivor. This cancer is actually most common in young adults ages 15-35, and at Stage 2 has nearly a 100% survival rate. Chemo sucks and he might be left with a few minor permanent health problems from it (I still have some lung issues), but he will almost certainly pull through! It's going to be a rough six months for Luke, though. All the best to him.

This proves once and for all that there are much more important things than a piece of shit "talent" competition.

Blessings to him and his family.

Stay strong Luke. Sending many prayers to you and your family. You are going to be fine after awhile. Good thing they caught it now. Keep the faith.
