David Cook on Best Week Ever

Hmmm .. the longer he's away from AI .. the more of his personality he gets back. Coincidence?

The guy is pretty funny. The whole "Magic Unicorn, Magic Leprechaun" thing in the Idolatry vid was pretty funny as well.

Well, I'm back to liking Cook. That other guy's acting was terrible, but Cook pulled it off ok. He obviously has a good time making fun of himself, and that's cool.

Boring season? Well, yeah, ok, without VFTW it would've been excruciating and unwatchable, but it's the only season I ever watched, so I have nothing to compare it to. My impression of the show is that it perfectly represents the bulk of America: stupid, lame, tasteless, gullible, and stupid.

I think David Cook is in on the AI gag. I wouldn't be surprised if he stopped by here one day to say hey.

Christian Finnegan is obviously losing a hard fought battle with cocaine addiction. Remember when he was the fat guy on the Dave Chapelle show? Poor Christian. Another casualty of the Hollywood lifestyle. Hopefully we won't be soon attending Finnegan's wake.

Cookie could be the first Idol winner ever who "gets it." Mock yourself first because everyone else is! Acknowledge "magic rainbow" and maybe people will let it slide. Tell everyone you felt the group numbers were irrelevant. We've know this for years, but no one's ever come out and said it before, certainly not the winner. David Cook, are you reading this board? Christian Finnegan was cute when he was fat. Now he's all creepy skinny looking.

David Cook is a gracious person which has been evident in every interview he's done. He has a wonderful sense of humor. He has the ability to go in front of the crowds and know just what to say and how to act. I am not a rock type person but hopefully he'll do some other things at some point to appease those who aren't into that genre. I loved Music of the Night and a few others he did and the finale song I play again and again. I voted for DA the entire time but now I see Cook was the better of the two for a lot of reasons. DA still needs to mature and gain the stage confidence and how to parttake in interviews. That will come. I do hope he also has a CD because I will buy it. Luv his voice...it's soothing, calming and just what I need on the trip home from work!

Yes, this season was boring and I've wwatched a few seasons. Almost didn't watch it this year until someone told me of this amazing kid with a fantastic voice, DA and I was hooked for yet another round of AI. DC took time for me to see his ability since I don't care for rock, but gave him the credit he deserved when I finally did realize this. It was the same with Daughtry (sp). I saw what he could do but it didn't mean that I liked his rocker stuff.

I do think AI needs an overhaul especially where the voting is concerned. Way toooo many votes for one person to send in, Stupid to spend hours voting for the one of your choice. Much better things to do. I'm for real judges who know what they are talking about and actually pay attention to how and what is being sung. Simon has a good ear most of the time but the other two don't. I believe they had Cook pegged to win from the get go even though it seemed they were for DA.
