Vonzell Solomon, third place finisher on American Idol 4 (who?), was detained at Southwest Florida International Airport after security screeners found a gun in her luggage as she went through a security checkpoint. Apparently the gun was unloaded and Vonzell was very cooperative with authorities. The most she'll probably get out of this is a fine. But our fake VFTW spies who make up stories overhead Vonzell saying that she was headed to "kill someone like I liked If I Ain't Got You while I was on Idol." OH NOES!!!! Vonzell was actually one of the more likeable people to appear on Idol, so it's highly likely she actually did just make a mistake. But seriously, who brings a gun with them on a plane? Kind of shady.

Vonzell probably takes the gun everywhere with her so didn't think much of it when she tried to boarded a plane with it. I think it would have been interesting if she would have been allowed to carry her gun on the plane and it got hickjacked. Air marshals are forced to dress like "secret" service agents so they stick out making them easy to spot. No one would have suspected Vonzell of packin heat on the other hand. It surprises me that airline security even caught it. Usually they are more likely to bust you for having to large of a shampoo bottle in the luggage.
