Yea he is no David Archuleta. He is a zillion times better than archuturd. I never understood why they didn't let him go to the top 24..their reason was that he messed up once with the band and that was "very important"..do they really expect us to believe that they themselves haven't ever done that in their 30 year careers? Anyway, good luck for the album.

His songs are really interesting, and I think his piano work is great. His voice still kinda annoys me though. I sort of hope he accepts some vocal coaching at some point, because I think he could be a much better singer than he is right now.

I kinda like him too, but the voice does need some work. He can sing, but the fake British accent is ridiculous. He better give Ellen DeGeneres a big ol' shout-out in his liner notes!

We've known for a while that friend of VFTW Josiah Leming had signed a record deal with Warner Bros. But now it's up on their media information site. One new detail mentioned in the article is that Josiah didn't just sign a record deal but also a publishing deal (more money for his songwriting). Right now, Josiah is in London working with producer David Kosten, which means he's in the land of all of his idols working on his own music. Very awesome. And this is the guy that Randy said is "no David Archuleta?" We'll compare Gaspy's career to Josiah's next year and get back to you with a giant belly laugh. Thanks for that one, Randy. And we can't wait for the album, Josiah!
