i am pretty pissed about this top 10. you guys will love this, but it makes me so mad that mark day made it and omar got kicked off!!!! he deserved to be in a least the top 3, and his performance of ain't no sunshine was possibly the best performance on this show ever! i'm at least glad that mookie and theo made it, but half those people should be gone. canada, what is wrong with you? i have to admit though it was hilarious when mark sang against all odds! remember who sang it a few years ago? i thought of scott savol right away!

Maybe Mark will don the leotard and sing "Space Oddity"

And so our game begins with a pretty good victory. It was good that we had Oliver Fuckgott eliminated before he could do any more damage...I had a strange feeling that if he had been left unchecked he could have done a heckuva lot of damage to our cause.

Shame on me for doubting the power of VFTW. I thought Mark Day was toast, but DAMN, you pulled him through.

Sorry, but you Americans just don't understand Canadian Idol voting.

This is NOT a victory for VFTW. It is simply you guys picking the most obvious contestant to get ahead. You want to show your "power"? Pick the contestant who ISN'T from Newfoundland. Every year, that province power votes their contestants well into the Top 10 regardless of how pitiful their performances are. This started long before VFTW, and it will continue every year. I know it is a phenomenon that you don't see in the US, but we are used to it here. Hell, in Season Two, when busy signals were the norm when voting for ANY contestant, Newfies were even supposedly given special connections where they didn't get the busy signals (some lame phone company excuse about them having different types of lines due to being a small island). The result was the horrid Jason Greeley making it to Top 4!!

So sorry, VFTW. Until you support a non-Newfie contestant and they go far, you have no power here in Canada. The Newfie will ALWAYS get through regardless of you guys. Even the judges comment on it (Zack's remark on how Mark would get through simply because of where he is from).

A victory for VFTW? No.

The usual lame duck voting bloc from Newfoundland that occurs year after year on Canadian Idol? Yes.
