I didn't like her at all on Idol, but to be honest I liked this song.

Ehh, I wont be adding it to my iPod or anything, but it's not bad. Although 2 weeks after they release it on the radio I'm sure I will want to blow my brains out when I hear it 3029 times.

Well that was a pleasant surprise. I liked it a lot. I'll very likely buy her cd when it comes out. I like her a hell of a lot more than the other Cook.

This song, Phil Stacey's song that was posted about a month ago, and everything recorded by Kellie Pickler and Bucky Whatshisname represent all that is wrong with what passes for country music these days. It is all the same song, a cheesy, forgettable, unremarkable, formulaic pop tune with the minimal amount of steel guitar and fiddle to make it "country," pre-processed and shrink-wrapped for your easy consumption. That's all modern country radio is. Why do you think it's so easy for pop acts to jump lines right now? You have Jewel and Jessica Simpson releasing country albums, both of which will probably sell as well as the next generic country crap like Sugarland or Big &; Rich. I find it insulting that Jessica Simpson actually affects a country accent on her awful new song. She didn't sing like that when she was a pop star, so why is it necessary to do so now? It's like she's saying, "See? Ah'm a country sanger, y'all? Cain't ya'll heeur mah acceunt? Buy mah albums, rednecks!" By the way, from the first line of the song, what the hell is an "ass cube?" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZU11fdkNuFM

Exactly. Couldn't have said it better myself.
