The truth is, as any rational person must have noticed, that while itunes charts do kind of reveal actual popularity, they are heavily skewed towards the Disney Channel set. The influx of Disney hits (and I lump Archie in this) on the top 10 shows it's how that age group spends their allowance these days. Still, a lot had to buy it. Basically I look at it like this; iTunes charts are to Disney tweens as the imdb Top 250 is to 20 something year old white male fanboy Tarantino worshippers

I don't suppose it's that unusual to have a casting call for video "friends", but I agree about the fact that if they hire 21 yr olds Lil' Davey will look Lil'er than normal. My question is, who will they hire to play his "crush"?? I assume s/he will feature in the video, though I haven't heard the song so I don't know. Maybe he'll just stare at a photo of her/him...then to save expenses they can just have him drool over the stock photo that comes with the frame. ;)
