Two friends of VFTW are releasing their albums today, so go ahead and pick up a copy. Chris Sligh's "The Anatomy of Broken" and Josiah Leming's "Come On Kid" are both out now. So if you have a little cash to blow, give these guys a little listen and buy the albums if you like what you hear. Both albums are under $8 at Amazon.

Josiah Leming's mother, Sharon Leming, passed away today after her long battle with cancer. Sharon was a wonderful woman and an inspiration to many with her blog Mylifewithcancer.com. Sharon was a regular poster on VFTW for a while (wanttolive) so it's sad to see someone who was a member of our community and an all around wonderful person leave us. You will be missed, Sharon. Condolences go out to the Leming family during this hard time.

Friend of VFTW Josiah Leming has 2 new songs up on his MySpace, "Over and Over" and "Punk Ass Rain." We're assuming these are from his upcoming album, and they sound really good. "Over and Over" could be a definite hit. So check 'em out and leave him a message with your opinions.

Josiah scored gig performing at the South by Southwest Music Festival. That's a pretty huge event, taking place from March 18-22 in Austin, TX. Looks like Josiah is still on a roll and doing fine for himself without Idol. Good news! Anyone in the area going?
