In what should be obvious to anyone with a brain, Lee DeWyze barely sold any albums this week. His debut album, Live It Up, came in with 39,000 sold according to USA Today. That's less than half of what Kris Allen, the previous low end record holder for the winners, sold last year. Even fucking Justin Guarini from season 1 sold more albums than Lee in his first week. This is truly getting pathetic. A 5 month long advertisement for one person's album can only manage to sell 39k albums, even with millions and millions of people watching? Unless the show produces a megastar this year, looks for cancellation right around the corner.

The movie that notified the American public that maybe the American Idol producers were morons is now being shown at an exclusive film festival. But From Justin To Kelly isn't being recognized for being any good. The movie is being screened at the So Bad They're Brilliant film series at the Egyptian Theatre on Wednesday, August 19. Go check it out as a double feature with Mariah Carey's crapsterpiece Glitter. If you can survive the night without slitting your wrists, you are officially a stronger person than most. And hey, at least it gets Justin Guarini back in the news for a split second.
