MJ's Big Blog got this week's theme - it's Now and Then. The "singers" have to pick a #1 hit song from 2000-2012 and then sing an older soul song. The soul songs will probably be boring, so our trainwreck opportunity is with the new stuff. Any suggestions for the contestants?

According to TMZ, there will be a shocking result tonight where one of the favorites will be voted off. Yawn. We called this whole thing yesterday. They had to use the save this week so that the show would run the correct number of weeks so they're changing the results tonight to make them shocking. At least we finally got them to use the save. Then VFTW can really get down to business making sure WGWG5 wins.

The list of songs for this week was tweeted, and as we figured, they're almost all terrible. Maybe one or two are interesting, but the rest make for an awful show. These Idol contestants have the worst taste in music that we've ever seen! Feel free to guess who sings what, but does it really matter? And at least there's an upside - no one picked Adele!

The top 7 will be singing songs from the current decade (2010-2012). Finally - a current theme! Though knowing these boring contestants, they will likely either all choose Adele songs or they'll all pick super old songs that were covered in the past 2 years.

Please, contestants. You can do this. More Ke$ha, less Taylor Swift.
