Kelly Clarkson's New Single "Mr. Know It All"

Kelly Clarkson's new song "Mr. Know It All" is out. Kelly seems to go between commercial crap written for her by her label and sometimes decent songs. This sounds like commercial crap and a rip off of that terrible Bruno Mars song. So that may mean it'll be successful.

Kelly Clarkson - Wash, Rinse, and Repeat

A new Kelly Clarkson song leaked called "Wash, Rinse, Repeat". Clearly the song is about Ryan Tedder and his factory of terrible songs that she recorded one of ("Already Gone"). If she's recording a bad pop song to mock bad pop songs, it's interesting in that respect. But we think even she could be a bit more clever about it. Hey anyone that mocks cookie cutter music that Idol pops out is alright in our book though. So overall, win for Kelly. Just as long as this is just for fun and not on the next album.

Kelly Clarkson Insults Her Record Label In Concert - '2 More Records'

During a concert, Kelly Clarkson takes time out to say, "I've always loved soulful music and wanted to record it but I can't because I work with a bunch of suits." She then counts down how much longer she has with her current label by saying, "2 more records!" Gotta love how the original Idol winner is a total badass to keep making fun of her label. Awesome! Kelly really does have way too much talent to sing the songs she does.

Kelly Clarkson Rips on Taylor Swift's Manager

After Taylor Swift sucked ass at the Grammys, people were understandably annoyed that she won awards. The head of Taylor's recoed label, Scott Borchetta, attempted to defend her by saying, "This is not American Idol. This is not a competition of getting up and seeing who can sing the highest note. This is about a true artist and writer and communicator. It's not about that technically perfect performance." Understandably annoyed, because Taylor Swift is a rat faced bitch who can't sing, Kelly Clarkson shot back at Scott. Awesome. Loving Kelly and her cajones.

Wow …..Dear Scott Borchetta,

I understand defending your artist obviously because I have done the same in the past for artists I like, including Taylor, so you might see why its upsetting to read you attacking American Idol for producing simply vocalists that hit ‘the high notes’. Thank you for that ‘Captain Obvious’ sense of humor because you know what, we not only hit the high notes, you forgot to mention we generally hit the ‘right’ notes as well. Every artist has a bad performance or two and that is understandable, but throwing blame will not make the situation at hand any better. I have been criticized left and right for having shaky performances before (and they were shaky) and what my manager or label executives say to me and the public is “I’ll kick butt next time” or “every performance isn’t going to be perfect” ……I bring this up because you should take a lesson from these people and instead of lashing out at other artists (that in your ‘humble’ opinion lack true artistry), you should simply take a breath and realize that sometimes things won’t go according to plan or work out and that’s okay.

Sincerely,

One of those contestants from American Idol who only made it because of her high notes.
