You've raised $945.17 for our resident starving artist Laura Hawbaker for her hard work on our caricatures. We've wanted to do a charity drive on VFTW for years now, but didn't want to look like we stole the idea once American Idol unveiled their gigantic Idol Gives Back extravaganza. But then we thought, who cares, doing something good for a charity at any level is worthwhile in every case. This week, Vote for the Worst encourages you to help donate to Relay for Life, which supports the American Cancer Society's fight against cancer. The Society works hard every day to prevent cancer and save lives by supporting groundbreaking research, affecting public policies that protect us from cancer, and educating people on how to prevent or detect cancer early. Many of you know someone personally affected by cancer. And even if you don't, can you believe that more than 1.3 million new cancer cases are expected to be diagnosed in the United States this year?
