JoesPlace has some spoilers from the first day of American Idol 10 Hollywood Week. 75 people were sent home, including the amazing Bekuh Boom. Why? Also sent home were Maddie Penrose, some girl named Shannon, 2 African American 15-year old boys, and one 15 year old girl. Some people who made it through were Jessica Cunningham and Jessica Furney, as well as people named Joe, Nathan, Rose, a dating couple, a brother/sister combo, 2 brothers, and a 15 year old blonde guy (could it be Austin Anderson?)

A poster at IdolForums claims that American Idol season 9's Hollywood hopefuls will look familiar to us. Not because they are all plants like in season 7, but because many of them have made it to Hollywood before. Among those to watch out for in Hollywood according to this poster:

• Jessica Furney - the nice girl with glasses who seemed too talented/boring to be on the show. 
• Angela "A'Wun" Martin - the girl from Chicago with the special needs daughter.
• Frankie Jordan - the Amy Winehouse-esque chick from LA.
• Margo May, David Gowryluck, JB Ahfua, and Katie Bernard  - auditioners that we didn't really see last year.
• Daniel Murillo and Lilly Scott - Two others who supposedly made it (but weren't from last year)

From what we hear from what seems to be a reliable source, it looks like Jessica Furney is in the top 36. We're OK with that, she doesn't seem planty at all and you can't knock a girl for trying. We'll see how this pans out soon enough. If you know anything else about the top 36, please send us an e-mail, anonymity guaranteed.

Edited To Add: This doesn't jive with our other list, so it might be wrong. We've gone back and forth on this one, huh? But we're starting to think Jessica's out again.

JoesPlace has a new source that says Jessica Furney may NOT have been cut in Hollywood and may still be in the running. Hey, that's fun! And JP also says Arianna Afsar ("adopt a grandfriend" girl) was cut in Hollywood. She seemed too nice to take on the Idol beast anyway, she's probably better off.
