After Danny Gokey went on American Idol and cheapened his love for his dead wife to win a recording contract, he's now engaged to some other woman 2 years later. Sophia's ghost is not going to be happy about this.
Bonus: The comments on the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel are hilarious. They don't seem to like Gokey in his home town.
It seems like when any American Idol news comes out nowadays, it's to say that someone was dropped by their record label. This post isn't any different. Danny Gokey, best known for doing a terrible version of "Dream On" and exploiting his dead wife while on Idol, was dropped by record label RCA Nashville. The official statement that is that the two agreed to part ways, but since no one agrees to leave a paying record deal, it's fairly obvious that Danny was dropped. After Idol ended, Danny didn't immediately get a record deal to make the R&B music he wanted to make, so he thought country fans would be stupid enough to buy music from him (even though he wasn't a country artist). We have to give credit to the country fans - even they didn't buy it (and country music fans will buy anything!) So now that we'll never have to hear from Danny Gokey ever again, would you play his exit music please, Keyboard Cat?

This is the cover for Danny Gokey's upcoming Christmas album, Tennessee Christmas. We're not even going to comment - we want you to let us know what you think.
Danny Gokey's new music video for "I Will Not Say Goodbye" deals with the death of a loved one. Wait a minute. Danny Gokey's wife DIED? Why has he never mentioned this before?
