Why We Loved Him (But Everyone Else Hated Him): Jim Verraros was the original sappy sob story on Idol that overstayed his welcome, setting a precedent for Idol seasons to come. The child of two deaf parents, Jim milked the story for all it was worth. During his audition, he oversang a terrible version of "When I Fall in Love" while doing sign language because he just wishes his parents could magically hear him.

His parents don't know how lucky they are.

The internet is buzzing that Jim Verraros married his boyfriend Bill Brennan in Illinois. People Magazine even did an online feature on it. We're surprised that people seem to remember who Jim is (9th place finisher on American Idol season 1). What's not being reported anywhere is that Jim's boyfriend is 43 years old, while Jim is 26. Sure, it happens all the time, but still, it's kind of creepy. But hey, if Katharine McPhee can stick with her cradle robber, we guess Jim can too.
