With Idol having ended, X Factor audtions kicked off today, and that means the first day for new judge Britney Spears. Everyone's excited about Britney being on the show, mainly because she can have a complete meltdown at any given place and time. And for those wondering how long it would take for her to have her first meltdown, the answer is one day as TMZ.com is reporting that Britney has stormed out of auditions...

Britney Spears walked off the set of "X Factor" moments ago ... and according to several people in the audience, she was upset after a contestant butchered her song, "Hold It Against Me." Britney did not come back immediately ... and four contestants auditioned in front of the remaining judges ... and an empty seat.

One day and X Factor is already more entertaining than the entire season of American Idol 11! This is what they paid Britney the big bucks for!

It's official: Demi Lovato has been named as the fourth judge on X Factor. If you're like me, you're asking yourself: Who the fuck is Demi Lovato to be judging a singing contest? All I know is she's a 19-year-old from the Disney machine and she likes to cut herself.

I get what Simon's trying to do but how will contestants like Stacy Francis and Leroy Bell feel about being judged by a 19-year-old? In any case, this is Simon's last chance because if this doesn't work, nothing will.

By the way Simon, next to your two new judges, you're suddenly looking very old.

On paper, this sounds very exciting as Britney is still Britney and she can still have a complete meltdown on live TV at any given moment. But once the dust settles, we may land up with someone with a very dull personality who couldn't pass an X Factor audition if her life depended on it.

You're going to hear a lot of rumors about new X Factor judges (95%  of which are just publicity stunts) but this one is too good to ignore as there's buzz that Britney Spears is interested in becoming a judge. Britney would be the perfect mentor to teach the contestants how to lip sync properly, something last year's cast could've used.

This would be a huge coup for X Factor, but we're probably going to have to settle for Fergie and Leann Rimes. But we can dream!
