Well, it's late May again; time to watch all the TV finales, get ready for summer, and to celebrate all the VFTW Victories! we always have during American Idol. Season 9 was a season of change (sic. decay) for American Idol but one thing that never changes is that there's always a worst. And while the show struggles with pathetic ratings and Simon leaving, VFTW struggled with choosing only one person as our pick from what was the worst cast EVER. Struggled until one young, shirtless, clueless man smiled his way into our lives, making VFTW history in the process. Read on to re-visit all the VFTW Victories we celebrated this year...

At 2:23 in this video, Didi Benami is asked for her opinion on Tim Urban by the newscasters on Fox 9 Minneapolis-St. Paul. Didi pauses, makes a face like, "I don't want to answer that," and then says she didn't know him very well. The idiot newscasters practically have an orgasm over her answer. They're just jealous of Tim's awesomeness obviously.

Words can't express. Tim Urban was clearly slated to go home and he didn't, He was once again in the bottom 2, but the VFTW votes were what pushed him into safety once more. Tim Urban now becomes the longest running VFTW American Idol pick in our history with 7 weeks. Sanjaya only had 6. Wow... just wow.

Tim Urban - you are FANTASTIC. You laugh at the judges. You slide. You are a gift from Saint Antonella and we love you. Didi Benami, well we liked ya but you couldn't compare to Tim.
