MJ's Big Blog has this video up of season 9 American Idol contestants discussing Idol blogs during the Reality Rocks Expo. Tim Urban admits to reading the blogs and Paige Miles sarcastically says that Vote for the Worst is her favorite blog ever (causing Tim to shake his head). While we admit we can be pretty harsh, we're not saying anything that the music business isn't going to throw at these people on a daily basis. We're just getting them ready for reality and going back to flipping burgers (which we're assuming these people are all doing now). So we'll accept our thanks and applause now please. 

Well, it's late May again; time to watch all the TV finales, get ready for summer, and to celebrate all the VFTW Victories! we always have during American Idol. Season 9 was a season of change (sic. decay) for American Idol but one thing that never changes is that there's always a worst. And while the show struggles with pathetic ratings and Simon leaving, VFTW struggled with choosing only one person as our pick from what was the worst cast EVER. Struggled until one young, shirtless, clueless man smiled his way into our lives, making VFTW history in the process. Read on to re-visit all the VFTW Victories we celebrated this year...

Tim Urban is a motherfucking VFTW Victory! Tim Urban is in the top 10 and on the Idols tour. The guy who didn't even earn a spot in the top 24 is now going on tour. This is golden. And with that, Tim ties Sanjaya's record for longevity for our American Idol picks. Both have lasted 6 weeks. If Tim can stick around one more week, he would be our longest running pick ever. AND he now sets a record for us because we've never had a pick last from the very first week and make it onto the tour. This is amazing.

Thank you to everyone who voted for Tim last week. We did it. Had it not been for the VFTW votes, with Tim in the bottom 2, he would've surely gone home over paige. So that just goes to show, we make a difference and our Timmy is around for one more week. But with this many bottom 3 visits, we really need to step up the voting next week even more. Saint Antonella and Sanjaya the Messiah have truly blessed us this week.
