And when we asked who you felt was the least deserving member of the top 12 to get an idea of who doesn't deserve their spot, results show Tim and Paige  in a virtual dead heat at 25% apiece (Tim is a mere 26 votes ahead of Paige right now, not a lot):

No one else is even close. So it looks like since those are the 6 people that obviously don't deserve their spots, they're much more likely to become our pick than the others.

WOW, a totally unexpected DOUBLE VFTW Victory! Paige Miles and Tim Urban are both in the top 12. Lilly, Katelyn, and Alex, who were expected to get spots, didn't. So now we have 2 good VFTW contestants in the top 12 with excellent backups like Aaron, Andrew, Katie, and Lacey. How hilariously awesome. There won't be a shortage of VFTW picks.

Thanks to everyone out there who voted for Paige and Tim. The VFTW victory with Paige after she sang the way she did is huge. And Tim is clearly not good enough to be there either, with the internet hate for him growing each day. We can't believe it.

So what should we do next week? Vote in our poll and let us know who you think we should vote for next week. We've never been in such a good spot at this point in the competition. We won't use the results to completely decide. We'll probably see how they do in the top 12 to pick between them, but we want to see your first impressions.

Tonight, CELEBRATE WORSTERS. WE DID IT!

In a night dominated by boring suck, Paige's boring suck was the best to us. Her vocals clearly were some of the worst of the night. And we need to make sure someone who didn't receive any pre-show screen time makes it into the top 12. Paige kicking out any of the other women would be a real shocker, so let's give it our best shot. If we fail, well we're no worse than when we started. But let's try for that WTF moment. JoesPlace has clarified, Paige DeChausse is not in the top 24. It's actually another Paige... Paige Miles. Here is a bio about her from the Community School of Naples website:

"2004 CSN graduate Paige Miles has been on a seven-month adventure trying out for a spot on American Idol. She made it through many rounds of eliminations and is now one of 60 contestants (out of an initial 10,000) to be featured during Hollywood Week. Tuesday, January 12, is Dallas Night, and Paige will be competing for a finalist position on that show. “Paige was in Showtime ’04 as well as my first musical at CSN, Starmites,” remembers CSN’s Performing Art Chair Mark Danni. “I also cast her in a production of The 1940’s Radio Hour that I directed for The Naples Players. I have stayed in touch with her over the years and was thrilled when she called me about making American Idol. She is a wonderful singer and a beautiful human being.” Paige is studying Psychology at Prairie View A & M University in Texas. Check your local listings for time and channel to see how she does!"
