Worst Performance: 'Rockin Robin'
Why We Loved Her (But Everyone Else Hated Her): Megan Joy started off her audition as one of Simon's favorite vocalists. But somewhere along the line, Megan either got tired of the show or just wanted to do whatever she wanted to do. This made her the highlight of the finals of season 8. After a disappointing semifinal round where Tatiana Del Toro, Nick Mitchell, Alex Wagner-Trugman, and Jackie Tohn didn't make it into the top 13, we though all hope was lost for this season's entertainment. Luckily for VFTW, Megan Joy delivered in a big way.

Once Megan hit the top 13, she made her mark early on to become a VFTW favorite. Her first performance during Michael Jackson week was an awesome take on "Rockin Robin" that ended with a "CAW CAW". After a night filled with so much medicority, Megan's cawing stood out as a VFTW barrle cry and immediately earned our love.

Check out #10: Haley Scarnato at AOL Television today. Haley redefined white bread, milquetoast, and bland on the Idol stage. Her vocals weren't very good, she rarely took a risk, and yet she hung around on the show for an amazing 8 performances. How is this possible? Her looks. When Haley knew she was in trouble, she wore revealing outfits, cried, and did whatever she could to resemble a hooker who conned her way to an extra $50 tip. Finally, it was all too much and she went home in 8th place, a week before VFTW's beloved Sanjaya.

Season: 1
Worst Performance: 'Easy'
Why We Loved Him (But Everyone Else Hated Him): Jim Verraros was the original sappy sob story on Idol that overstayed his welcome, setting a precedent for Idol seasons to come. The child of two deaf parents, Jim milked the story for all it was worth. During his audition, he oversang a terrible version of "When I Fall in Love" while doing sign language because he just wishes his parents could magically hear him.

His parents don't know how lucky they are.

Check out #12: Kristy Lee Cook at AOL Television today. Kristy Lee Cook started out innocently enough talking about how she sold her horse to get onto American Idol. She warbled her way through the semifinals unnoticed, but won VFTW's heart with her top 12 performance of "Eight Days a Week" that is still considered one of the worst Idol performances of all time. Kristy then lasted all the way until the top 7 (with VFTW's help), kicking out favorite Michael "Aussie Douche Bag" Johns. People were mad, but VFTW cheered, and it helped Kristy score her spot on the list.
