AOL Television and Vote for the Worst bring you the 12 Worst Finalists in American Idol history. Other people may have hated them, but Vote for the Worst loves these misunderstood geniuses for the entertainment value they brought to American Idol. So their "worst" is our "best", and we're gonna tell you why.

Check out #8: Mikalah Gordon at AOL Television today. Mikalah was a VFTW pick that we knew would be awesome from day one. Her loud personality and unwavering quest for attention made us fall in love with her quickly. Her performances and insistence on taking Simon Cowell to her prom only made us love her more. Like a mini Fran Drescher, Mikalah owned the stage with her presence and sense of humor, even as a teenager. (Who else would wear a shirt that said "My job is to annoy you?") Unfortunately, VFTW could only help Mikalah to 11th place, where the rest of America decided that they'd had enough due to Mikalah's inconsistent vocals. But we'll always hold a special place in our heart for her because she did the one thing that VFTW loves: she entertained us.

Oh No They Didn't is reporting that VFTW favorite Mikalah Gordon is dating her Gone County castmate Chris Kirkpatrick. Chris was in the 90's boy band NSync. Are these rumors true? We'll do some digging and find out, but hey, we're happy for Mikalah if she's happy. By the way, looking good, Mikalah!
