Steven Tyler performed the National Anthem before the Patriots/Ravens game today. Though performed is probably too nice of a world. Murdered. Destroyed. Shat upon. Those are better. This guy is judging people's singing - and we love it. Don't ever change, Steven.
Remember how Steven Tyler has been saying that Aerosmith would perform with James Durbin at the Idol finale? Well it looks like he's the only band member who wants to do that. The Boston Herald reports that the other members of Aerosmith don't want to do it because they'd rather wait to promote something for their band. Besides, the last time we saw Joe Perry was when he played with Sanjaya at the season 6 finale. How could you possibly top that? (Answer: You can't)
On Jimmy Kimmel Live this week, Jimmy has Chritoph Waltz on and he let us in on a secret - he was a judge on American Idol this past week. Why did they edit this out, it's amazing! Spoiler alert: People are killed. Andas Randy would say, "it's the bomb, dawg."
Ryan Seacrest announced on his radio show that the Idol producers will apologize tonight for Steven Tyler's "outrageous" behavior. What? This sounds like a publicity stunt since Steven Tyler hasn't done anything outrageous at all. He's just hitting on contestants and saying stupid things, which everyone loved in Paula and everyone still loves in Steven. So we're pretty sure this is all Ryan Seacrest's attempt at a joke... and it's lame.
So we'll save you the time - don't watch the show tonight. This is clearly an attempt to get people to watch the show and it's just a joke. And if it's not, it's even lamer.
