In the least surprising development in the history of civilization, Steve Jones and Nicole Shitzinger have been fired from X Factor. Poor Steve had never done anything like this in his life and was so awful VFTW actually began liking him! And Nicole proved that someone with the mental makeup of a six-year-old girl wasn't a good choice as a judge.

Meanwhile, chalk up another failure for Simon Cowell. Or should I say three!

Final shows like tonight's are way too boring to blog about as all that remains are just boring generic contestants who've gotten this far because of tards and fraus so instead let's take a look back at the most VFTW moments on this season's show. When we first heard X Factor was coming to America we were very hopeful as The UK version of the show is so VFTW-friendly but things got off to a horrible start due to a repulsive amount of over-hype that turned off a lot of people before the show even got started. And things didn't get much better from there as this show had little of the VFTW magic the UK version does and we landed up with basically the exact same final we'd see on American Idol. But in all this dullness there were a few brave souls who let their Worster Flags fly by having meltdowns in front of the entire nation, going on mad rants about Jesus and refusing to sing so let's look back at the most VFTW moments of the past season...

Fox has made it official: Cheryl Cole is FIRED. For most of you, this probably begs the question Who the fuck is Cheryl Cole and why should I care? and that's just the beginning of the problem; How arrogant has Simon gotten that he thought could bring a complete unknown to America with an accent so bad even her fellow countrymen can't understand it. Cheryl's reputation stinks and it didn't take her long to get on Paula Abdul's bad side, somewhere you don't want to be.

Fox turned off many people with how they exploited this story, and now this firing is a massive failure for them, Cheryl and especially Simon Cowell before their show even started. Replacing Cheryl won't be a problem as they have a robot on stand-by, Nicole Scherzinger. Those who've seen Nicole guest judge on The Sing Off and British X Factor know she's going to be duller than Randy Jackson mumbling in his sleep. X Factor, you're off to a horrible start. Simon's ego is completely out of control, and he's going to take you down with him. Of course, VFTW will be here to watch!

Monsters and Critics is reporting that the X Factor judges for the US version set to debut in Fall 2011 is all set. They're saying the 4 judge panel will be made up of Simon Cowell, Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherizinger, impossible to understand and unknown Cheryl Cole, and... Will Smith. Really? Will Smith? Why would he give up his prolific career to judge this terrible show? We're not buying it for one second. What do you think?
