Even without Idol on, some of the contestants are still getting mug shots taken for us. According to the Kennebec Journal, Jessica Cunningham was arrested on Sunday after a police officer saw her punch her husband in the face several times. Both Jessica and her husband claim that she was trying to stop her husband from driving after a meal (we're assuming he had been drinking). Jessica was arrested and released on bail with a court date on June 30 (via MJ's Big Blog).

JoesPlace has released 18 of the top 24 and also named 5 people who were cut (the site seems to be overloaded with traffic!). Jessica Cunningham and Eryn Kelly were cut (no shock, we haven't seen them), Hoillie Cavanagh was cut (boring), and John Wayne Schulz was cut (haha, frauen) but the big news is that Chris Medina was cut. This was brilliant on the producers' part. Chris would've gotten to the end of the show without even trying based on the pimping of his handicapped fiancee, so kicking him out now saved us months of agony and boredom. Nice call, Nigel!

Just after the top 20 was decided for American Idol 10, potential semifinalist Jordan Dorsey tweeted this picture of some happy looking Idol contestants. They look a bit too happy to have just been cut, so we think they've made it to the top 20. The picture includes from left to right: Jessica Cunningham (not sure if it's her), Jordan Dorsey, Naima Adedapo, Tim Halperin, and Casey Abrams.

Also, Brett Loewenstern's sister posted a message on Jordan's Facebook saying, "Take care of Brett." So we think he made the top 20 as well. Jordan's Facebook is now private.

JoesPlace spoiled a good portion of the top 40 for American Idol 10. Will all of these contestants be up for an internet vote, like a source told us back in November? Or will they be whittled down further? JoesPlace says that the contestants will have to "sing for their life" one more time, but it's not certain if a cut will take place.
