When Lyric 145 was eliminated from the X Factor, it was after giving a performance that they had to create in 24 hours when their original song choice was rejected. Now after their elimination, they leaked the original performance, which was an original rap over Aretha Franklin's "Respect". What do you think? Personally, we think this would have been even more VFTW worthy and fun to watch, with shoutouts to Khloe Kardashian and eargasms. Missing these guys already! (Via MJ's Big Blog)
VFTW has known for ages that the mentoring premise on X Factor is bullshit; I even wrote an article about it two years ago. Cracks on the American version have been appearing over the past couple of weeks, first when Simon changed Emblem3's song 24 hours before their performance (5:18 mark), and this week when he did the same to Lyric 145 (at start of video). This begs the question: Where was mentor Simon all week while his acts were flailing around? As it turns out, it doesn't matter as it's the producers, not the mentors, whom decide what songs the acts are going to do, how they're going to look and everything else on this show. And now X Factor may have gotten more than they bargained for when they revealed the voting totals as the contestants at the bottom of the rankings and their mentors are letting their rage out on the Producers, the true controllers of this show.
Read on to discover all the rage and deception...
But, but, but I thought they had the most votes in tard polls!1! They have the most Twitter stalkers and their fanboys can click refresh on youtube more than anyone else!!!!!
Meanwhile, Lyric 145 got a hard lesson on who votes on shows like these as the same people who made WGWG #1 last week while getting rid of the gay contestant can now cross another act off their hitlists. More importantly, this is a lesson to fair-weather Worsters who didn't get behind our pick. VFTW, as always, was proven right as we knew from the start that Lyric 145 had plenty of VFTW attitude and would get zero support on this show. A consolidated VFTW could've gotten Lyric a few more weeks, and who knows what they would've had in store for us now that they're angry.
We'll decide soon who our next pick is. But it'll only work if everyone gets behind it.
It took all of two weeks for the judges to get sick of Lyric 145. And Lyric's completely adopted the VFTW attitude as she laughed at LA Reid and completely ignored Demi when they critiqued them. Vote for Lyric 145 NOW! (voting info under video)...
