Tickets for Amanda Overmyer's Whisky Show Go On Sale Monday
Amanda Overmyer will be headlining the Whisky on Saturday, May 24 and tickets go on sale on Ticketmaster here on Monday. We will be banning all VFTW members who do not buy tickets. Do you want to be banned? If not, you better spend those dollars, chile. It's sure to be a kick ass show.

Here's Amanda Overmyer on today's Ellen Degeneres show. 2 chiles! As an added bonus, VFTW has learned that Amanda did indeed book a date in late May to headline at the world famous Whisky in Los Angeles. That's huge! Rumor has it that she'll be introduced by none other than Mario Maglieri, "the pope of Sunset Blvd", himself. This is the same man that has introduced Janis Joplin, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, and other legendary superstars on the same stage. We'll keep you update if we learn any more, but looks like Amanda is having some huge VFTW victories of her own. Congrats!

Hi everyone! I figured the best way to contact all of you was through this Blog. My first Blog mind ya! So here goes!
I personally want to thank each and every one of you for all of the support, love and kind words you have bestowed upon me! I was able to view a lot of your comments but I was not able to respond. I do not think words could describe how you all have made me feel. I even got the support of people who I never thought would get me! Oh Chile! I love you all!!
I want to let you all know that I am doing fine. I am completely satisfied with the outcome. I accomplished what I set out to accomplish and with out you I never would have made it as far as I did. Always double down on 11!
A lot of you have been asking what is next for me. There are people talking to people. What all that means is yet to be determined! My goal is to perform for people who like to hear me sing. If that is a large venue or just sitting around a fire pit with friends I am okay with it.
I’d like to close and say again how each of you has touched my heart! This is not the end of my Blog, this is the beginning of what I hope to be a fantastic journey that I can share with you all!

Amanda Overmyer May Already Have Some Jobs Lined Up
Don't cry too much for Amanda Overmyer, chile. VFTW has learned from a source that she may be already lining up the jobs! Rumor has it that Amanda is in talks to headline the world famous Whisky in Los Angeles in the coming weeks. Rockin! We also hear she may be in talks with producers who are producing the life story of The Whisky to play none other than Janis Joplin in a movie. Seems like the perfect fit to us. If that's the case, it looks like she may not have to go back to Indiana after all. We'll keep you posted when we learn more. As we always say, good things always come to the VFTW picks!
Amanda Overmyer Is Impressively Grounded, Likes the Worsters
Not shockingly, Amanda Overmyer has come across as level-headed and intelligent in all of her post-boot interviews. Instead of spouting off like David Hernandez about how she'll work with Alicia Keys, Amanda says, "Hopefully I created enough attention that somebody wants to pick me up and let me do something with music. But chances are they won't and I might end up right back where I started... If this ends up being my 15 minutes of fame I will gracefully bow out and move on to do something different." Such a refreshing attitude. And what did Amanda think of VFTW?
Q: Are you familiar with Vote for the Worst?
A: I heard that I was their girl. [Laughs.]
Q: Did you take that personally?
A: No, it didn't personally hurt me at all. Votes are votes, you know? From what I hear, they weren't too harsh on me. [Laughs.] I think a chunk of them liked me for real.
It's that attitude that will take her far in life. It's nice to see she gets us and that she's so level headed about everything. Whoever lets Amanda know what's posted on this site, let her know the Worsters still support her and hope to see big things from her in the future. And if it doesn't work out, we'll all head on out to Lafayette and help you sell out that bar.
