Amanda Overmyer has been our pick for 4 weeks now and we want to see her win the whole shebang. Due to the love for our VFTW chile, we are dedicating our radio show this week to her. If she's still in after tonight, it will be the Save Amanda Overmyer call-in special where we convince everyone to vote for her. If she's gone (hopefully not!), then it will be the Amanda Overmyer Idol memories show where we talk about all the good times we had watching her. We prefer #1 though. Don't let Amanda go home! The judges are finally starting to call her out on doing the same thing every week, they've noticed her pitchiness, and she has started talking back to them. The VFTW is coming out of her, and it can only get better next week. She even called ballads boring. Nice work, Amanda. You tell 'em. The major goal here: Amanda Overmyer on Mariah Carey week. Let's make it happen! But it won't happen, and you won't get to hear Amanda scream out a melismatic diva fish-out-of-water classic, if you don't vote. So let's keep our chile in.
VFTW Victory- Amanda is Safe to Scream Another Day, Chile!
Amanda is safe, nice work Worsters and Amanda fans! Then the producers used the first chance they could to get David Hernandez out before the tour. Predictable. We thought staged calls from crew families were the lamest thing in the episode. Then Katharine McPhee sadly outsang the entire top 12 even though she sucks ass. Pathetic. And next week they're singing more Beatles songs? Well, since this week was so bad, we expect next week to be another VFTW victory. Yay! Keep watching and keep voting for our VFTW female, chile.

She mumbles through her song, does crazy dancing, and basically makes a mockery of the competition by singing every song the same way. This is why we love her. She couldn't care less what people want her to do. So vote for her, because doing things "Amanda style" means "VFTW style", and we love it! KKKristy gave a good runner-up VFTW performance, so we can keep our eyes on her, but she's too marketable and slightly boring compared to Amanda's wild chile. And David Archuleta was by far the worst this week, forgetting the lyrics multiple times and sucking ass in a terrible way. But we can't just vote for David Archuleta based on one terrible performance, we have to factor in past suckiness, so Amanda it is. If only we could vote for all 3 of them! (Don't do that- Worsters never vote split)

Our Bride of Chucky made the top 12, but our cute little tomato fell just short. Boo! Oh well, it was a great run for Danny Noriega and he was just coming into his own on the show. Danny, you made us proud and we're sure great things will come for you. Amanda, your journey is just beginning. After Amanda's lukewarm performance and the judge pimping, we'll definitely still consider her for our pick, but we want to hear what you have to say. Who will VFTW vote for now that we're in the top 12? Poll coming soon. Next week the Idols butcher the Beatles, so this should be hilariously awful. We exposed the Idol plants. Amanda wasn't as bad as last week, but it's probably because she picked a 3-note song and phoned it in. She's by far the least consistent, so we'll stick with her for this week and see what happens. And if even if the judges like her, she's still going to give us some VFTW Victory clunkers. During the theme weeks, we know Amanda will not be happy to sing disco and country, so it's going to be great! But Amanda, back to more of last week please.
Amazing Results, VFTW Victory and a Dark Horse is Gone!
What a great results! We helped save Amanda and Danny and helped boot a pretty good singer like Alaina. Amanda and Danny were definitely in real danger, yet they stuck around, so great job helping to vote for them this week! Now let's get them into the top 12 and on to Idol Gives Head. Hopefully Brooke will user her beauty school expertise to really mess up Amanda's hair for her performance next week that we helped save her for. Too bad Robbie's gone so she can't fix his wig.

TMZ found Amanda Overmyer's mug shot from a DUI. The site says, "Amanda Overmyer pleaded guilty to DUI back in October 2006 near her hometown of Mulberry, In. She received a suspended sentence of 60 days and was placed on 180 days probation, which ended in August 2007."
