CARLY'S GONE!!!! Oh this is too delicious. Thanks to everyone who helped us vote for Brooke this week to make this magical moment possible. The season is finally interesting for a week.
CARLY IS GONE CELEBRATION RADIO SHOW! We helped keep Brooke on. VFTW Victory!

Carly is gone!!!! YAY!!!!! Brooke wasn't even in the bottom 2. VFTW VICTORY! The icing on the cake was Carly looking pissed as Syesha sang, complaining to Ryan about being in the bottom 2. Go home. No one likes you, Sanjaya hating failure. Let's celebrate this bitch home on the radio show. Listen at 10 PM Eastern, 9 PM Central. And you can call 218-486-1300 and put in the code 556833 to talk live. Check back in this post an hour before the show for a "listen live" link that you can click on to listen to us on the All Digital Radio Network.
It will be interesting to see how Carly reacts to meeting Mariah Carey tonight on Idol. This is because Carly will probably pretend to be "excited to meet her", yet there is extensive proof that the 2 already know each other. In an old News of the World article, Carly made it all about her (as always) when she met Mariah. "She told me she loved my song and thought I was a great singer. I was completely gobsmacked, one of the world's most successful female singers was praising me." The connection was also mentioned in the wonderful Star Magazine article. Now we can't blame Mariah tonight if she forgets Carly, because honestly, who would remember a hideous flop of an artist from 7 years ago? But if Carly acts like she's never met Mariah, then it's just another thing to add to her book of lies.
EDITED TO ADD: Yep, Carly told Mariah, "Nice to meet you." What a lying skank.
Star Magazine Picks up on the Carly Smithson-Randy Jackson Connection
Posted by thefunnystone on April 3, 2008 - 7:02pm
Vote for the Worst was the first source to tell you that Randy Jackson was senior vice president of A&R at MCA Records while Carly Smithson was signed there. Now Star Magazine picks up on it in their latest issue. They even have a quote from Randy, as told by an industry insider. Nice work, Star! Why is this still not a big deal? The producers shrugged off the "plant" story, and now look, 7 of the 8 remaining contestants are plants. If this story is shrugged off, Carly could actually end up with a record deal. We cannot let this happen. Keep spreading the word that the Carly-Randy connection is ridiculous and get as many Carly fans as you can to stop voting for her. Especially since it's hilarious that she tears up with even the mention of the bottom 3. She's nothing like VFTW champ Kristy who makes herself a name tag. Go Kristy! Boo Carly!
Here's a video of Carly acting annoying to promote her disaster of an album, Ultimate High. In the video, Carly uses the same recording equipment she pretended to be confused by during last week's episode and performs songs on stage (which she claimed to never do). If you're a masochist, check her out performing Beautiful You and the blow job song live.
Happy St. Patrick's Day from Vote for the Worst! Take today to pinch anyone not wearing green and to get the nearest Carly Smithson fan so drunk that they will have to miss the show tomorrow, rendering them unable to vote. It's an Irish tradition, no lie.
Carly Smithson is a liar. And a really bad one at that. Ever since we broke the story that she would be on the show this year, we knew something was off with her. And it seems that it's not just something, it's everything. The girl can barely keep her lies straight. Just in case you feel bad for her lame sob stories or feel compelled to vote for her, step away from the telephone. Read on and find out how absolutely nothing said by this lying plant, who only got on the show due to working with Randy Jackson years ago at MCA records, is the truth. We'll also keep this updated with new lies as Carly weaves a tangled web of lame falsities.
