Carly Smithson Hates VFTW
VFTW single handedly ruined Carly Smithson's chances of winning by posting about her plantiness and spreading it around the internet. Some of us felt slightly bad for the lying ho, but her recent lies on the show ("my record label imploded and left me behind... 2 years after they kicked me off.") confirmed that she's a loser. Now, in an apparent retaliation, she answers a question in her latest Americanidol.com Q&A:
What has been your favorite "Idol" moment in the past six seasons?
When Sanjaya got voted off.
Oh it's on now, Carly. Sanjaya is the VFTW messiah, and you don't mess with him. Now we will not feel bad when we mention how ugly you tend to look. VFTW needs an enemy to make fun of to keep us laughing, thanks for making it easy on us. And hopefully this year, poetic justice will occur and a VFTW pick will kick your sorry butt to the curb.
P.S. Even though we've mentioned it 100 times, just wanted to reiterate that Carly Plantson was at MCA Records at the same time as Randy Jackson. Disqualify her!
Sanjaya WINS The People's Choice Award and the Really Fox Reality Award
Looks like we did it again! Sanjaya Malakar is now the proud recipient of a People's Choice Award for "Best Reality Performer of the Year". Vote for Sanjaya for the People's Choice Awards and Fox Reality Awards
Sanjaya's up for two more awards- one is Fox Reality Award for best reality performer of the year. And seriously, who was a better performer this year than Sanjaya? Uh, nobody. So make sure to vote for him as much as possible. You can vote as many times as you want for this one, so set up an automatic voter if you want. The second award is a the People's Choice Award for Favorite Breakout Reality Star, but you have to register for that one. Sanjaya's only up against losers like Joey Fatone and Victoria Beckham, so we should be able to easily put him in the lead there. For the Fox award, he's up against Evel Dick, and those rabid Big Brother fans seriously do nothing but vote all day, so we'll have to vote extra hard. So we encourage you to vote much more for the Fox award since he's going to need extra help. Let's make this an even better year for our papaya with 2 more awards. So what are you waiting for? Sanjaya Malakarcass!
Your eyes are not playing tricks on you. Holywood Zombies, trading cards with dead versions of celebrities like Howard Stern, Michael Jackson, and the Olsen twins, have added Sanjaya to their roster. The card is pretty freaking hilarious, and Sanjaya Malakarcass is a clever name. And since we don't see any other Idols with their own cards, this looks like another VFTW victory. Sweet. Make sure to pick up a pack and see if you're lucky enough to get our ponyhawked, undead friend.
American Idol 6
VFTW started off with a bang during season 6 of American Idol when we selected Antonella Barba and Sundance Head as our first two picks. Almost immediately, racy pictures of Antonella surfaced, causing a public outcry and a flood of support. Eventually, pictures appeared with an Antonella lookalike performing oral sex, and VFTW was the first website to prove that these pictures were without a doubt fake. After lasting 3 weeks longer than anyone expected, our porcelain princess and the big guy were voted out. We then selected Sanjaya Malakar as our pick, and what a whirlwind that caused!
Farley Flex Says "No Sanjayas"
In preparation for the premiere of Canadian Idol next week, VFTW caught this gem in the Edmonton Sun. CI judge Farley Flex smartly blames the judges for Sanjaya's presence in the top 24 to begin with (correct), but then says that Canadian Idol has too much integrity to put a Sanjaya through to their top 22. Farley, buddy, 75% of the singers who make the top 10 on Canadian Idol every year can't even sing half as well as Sanjaya. Remember Brandon Jones? Rex Goudie? Corpsey LeBland? Suzi Rawn? Nuff said. VFTW is fairly confident we'll easily be able to pick a Sanjaya out of the bunch within a few weeks.
VFTW poster Brooklyn was awesome enough to meet up with VFTW papaya Sanjaya Malakar at a Border's meet and greet. Sanjaya gives us a shoutout, as of course he is incredibly awesome, but the follow-up reaction is hysterical too. Guess shout outs weren't allowed? Sanjaya rocks anyway! Thanks, Sanjaya! Hope all is well and that the recording is coming along nicely.
