American Idol 8 Top 50 Contestant Spoiler - Justin Williams
JoesPlace updated her top 50 list today, and it includes Justin Williams. Seems a little too attractive to make the top 36, as Idol only casts extremely fugly guys. But maybe this year is different? Either way, what are your impressions of this guy? We'd much rather have Adam Lambert in the top 12.
American Idol 8 Hollywood Contestant Spoiler - Jackie Mendez
Jackie Mendez is another failed contestant from that failed Idol clone show The One, just like Syesha Mercado last season. And yes, The One was the show where Kara DioGuardi was a judge. Wonder if Kara will pretend not to know Jackie when she makes it to Hollywood this year? Jackie even performed with Ricky Martin in the past and had a 5 year recoding contract with Elektra Records. Another day, another plant.
American Idol 8 Hollywood Contestant - Adam Lambert
We've heard from multiple sources that Adam Lambert does extremely well in Hollywood, but we're not yet sure if he makes the top 50. We've heard he's a gay goth guy who the judges seemed to really like. We have to agree, his MySpace is ridiculous and awesome at the same time. This guy looks like a great VFTW pick if he can make it, so we'll root for him to make the top 50. He even seems to understand what Idol is about in his original song Pop Goes the Camera: "Validation, exploitation, all cause a big fuss/Pop pop goes the camera/15 minutes of fame." He's not afraid to be showy, he's over the top, and he will probably be very entertaining. This guy looks awesome... which means the judges will probably cut him at some point.
American Idol 8 Hollywood Contestant - Felicia Barton
Felicia Barton is a rumored Hollywood contestant that we've been hearing some buzz about. Doing some research on her, there's tons of info about her out there, including a MySpace. Many of her videos that were recently public are now private, so we're thinking she might make the top 50. Her voice has a really cool raspy tone to it, and she's a pretty good singer, but she does overdo it at times (such as in the video above). Will she restrain it a bit and wow everyone or try to go for the diva moments and annoy us? We're hoping for the former, because the show hasn't had unique voices like hers in a while, but we'll probably get the latter.

Joanna Pacitti Already Being Pimped in Idol Commercials
Stupid plant Joanna Pacitti is already in Idol commercials. Idol ran this commercial yesterday, and Joanna is at 13 seconds in. You can also catch her saying "thank you" at the beginning of this one. Great... we're going to have to deal with the biggest plant ever in the top 36, aren't we?
Introducing Malcolm Echaluce
We brought you Taylor Vaifanua first, and now we got a new tip about another potential Top 50 contestant from American Idol 8. Introducing Malcolm Echaluce. He's Filipino and he's friends with Ramiele "Disappointingly Boring" Malubay. He was a Geography major at Florida State University and he already has a Facebook fan club. He also does a mean round-off back handspring back tuck. Rumor has it that he's "Randy's dawg" and Randy gave him a standing ovation when he sang a Stevie Wonder song. God, no! Stop it with the Stevie! We'll let you know if we find anything else about him.
Update: Our source did some more digging after we looked into it and didn't see any info about Malcolm. This guy did NOT make the top 50. But he did make it to Hollywood. Fine with us!
